Mickey Moonlight

This Saturday sees special guest Mickey Moonlight of French label Ed Banger Records laying down some sci-fi beats at monthly night Body Talk. Mickey (aka Midnight Mike) has DJ'ed for years and played for some of our favourite people and at some of our favourite nights, like Optimo and the late but legendary Trash. Now, as a producer, he continues to wow us with his fresh sounds. We asked Body Talk creator Rokk to get the lowdown from the man himself...

Rokk: What was the last track you heard that you could not stop playing?

Sandro Perri - Changes (Zongamin Remix)  [DFA]

Apparently, the best time to have your hair cut is when our Moon is waning, getting smaller, would you agree?

I agree with ritualising many apparently mundane tasks and I like to order many things in synchronisation with the luna cycles.  But I don't cut my hair very often!

What are your top 3 tracks at the moment?

Mickey Moonlight - Come On Humans! (Sam Tiba Rmx) [Ed Banger]

Dolphins Into The FutureNoite [Underwater Peoples Records]

Gucci Vump - Feeling [Bromance]

Listen to Mickey Moonlight's Promo Mixtape...
