5 Tracks From 12″ Of Pleasure

As vinyl-obsessed clubnight 12" Of Pleasure are the type of people who let the music do the talking for them. Between crate-digging and hosting their own nights around east London and regularly posting tracks on their website and Facebook, we managed to catch up with resident DJs Tom Jef and Benjamin Lau to find out their five favourite pieces of wax ahead of their monthly team-up next week with our weekly Wednesday night White Leather Viper Club.

Founder Tom tells us they're "inspired by Berlin's clubs and London's diversity" and that both the club and the blog were set up with the aim of "sharing the pleasure and sounds of electronic body music."

Emile Strunz - Shields (Penetration Dub) [World Unknown 2012]

"Nice swampy balearic beat, a slightly different version to the World Underground Mix."

Shed - Well Done My Son (Soloaction Records, 2006)

Die Vögel - Fratzengulasch (Pampa, 2011)

"These guys take a different approach to dance music, using more traditional instruments like flute or tuba and making it sound techno!"

Steve Reich - 2x5 Movement 3 Fast (Vakula Remix) (2011)

Efdemin - There Will Be Singing (Dial, 2010)

"Found this record browsing Berlin's Spacehall record store, couldn't bring it with me because of Ryanair's luggage limit, but hey glad I can post it here, beautiful release!"

12" Of Pleasure play White Leather Viper Club at Dalston Superstore on Wednesday 26th September from 9pm - 2:30am.
