Amoressss! We are welcoming the New Year with the return of your favourite Dalston Superstore residency!

Twerk Temple is back for a Valentine’s Special, creating a collective love ritual for diasporic queens, queers, and allies. Expect the high caliente energy you know us for, but with a loving twist. This time, we are blending our usual explosive beats with a brand new upstairs Classics Singalong session.

We’re getting loved up and nostalgic. Alongside the heavy hitters, we’re spinning a blend of Latin hits and universally known feel-good bangers. We’re talking about those tracks that make you scream the lyrics at the top of your lungs like it’s the early 00s.

Expect our signature heavy Afro, Latin and Caribbean hitters: Reggaeton, Soca, Dancehall, Bouyon, Baile Funk, Afrobeats +More. We basically playing all the rhythms that make our diasporic communities & allies shake their ass with intention. From slow wine to full-body release, this is nostalgia as a portal, joy as resistance, and love as a collective experience.

Safer Space Policy: Twerk Temple is centred on Black and Brown queer and trans joy. This is a judgment-free zone where we welcome ALL. The only requirement is to leave your inhibitions at the door and shake your ass x

Door Policy
Dalston Superstore is a queer space. We prioritise our LGBTQIA+ customers and will sometimes ask our straight & cis allies to support us by not taking up room in our venue. Please be conscious of who this space is intended for and be respectful. Never assume sexuality or gender identity. We will never ask personal questions on the door.
