On night two of our month-long collaboration with Butch Boots, come find us deep down in the basement at Dalston Superstore for back to back screenings of four short films by the controversial and iconic gay experimentalist Kenneth Anger.
Anger’s work silkily spans the sacred and the profane, mixing cauldrons full of occult imagery with the homoeroticism old Hollywood masculinity, psychedelia, fetish, and a disdain for the workings of capital and all its fascist bedfellows.
See some of his very best when we screen Kustom Kar Kommandos, Fireworks, Lucifer Rising, and Scorpio Rising.
