For the final Transmissions of the year, we knew it had to be something undeniable.
So when our frequent collaborator Jei Degenhardt suggested Hustlers (2019), it was like bells rang in the sky.
A choir of angels maybe?
Nothing says festive cheer like women’s wrongs, which are at the heart of Lorene Scafaria’s heavy-weight banger based on the true story of a sisterhood of entrepreneurial strippers who flip the script on a world that’s stacked against them, and devise a less-than-legal way to make more money than they know what to do with.
Jennifer Lopez leads a dizzying all-star cast including Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians), Keke Palmer (Nope), Lili Reinhart (Riverdale), Julia Stiles (10 Things I Hate About You), Trace Lysette (Monica), Cardi B and more.
 
Join us downstairs at Dalston Superstore where we’ll be cosy in the basement for our unofficial Christmas party, ready to say adieu before we go on a two-week break.
We may even have mince pies.
