Transmissions presents: SPLENDOR (1999) + DOG MOVIE (2023)

Ever been too avoidant to ask Sock to do the dishes?
Ever been faced with a choice between passion and security?
On night two of Three’s Company: Polyamory, Throuples, and Unethical Non-Mongamy, we’ll be presenting two very different looks at queer housing drama when we screen Henry Hanson‘s hyper-relatable folk punk-y short Dog Movie (2023) about a pair of tenderqueers, their live-in liability, and a dog, right before a showing of Gregg Araki‘s underrated essential of throuple cinema, Splendor (1999).
Come for Dog Movie‘s whily charms and moments of cringe excellence (with a recorded intro by director Henry Hanson), stay for the return of the beloved Gregg Araki to our humble screen on a night that pits vegans against the unemployed, himbos against gym bros, heteronormativity against trying to convince your boyfriends to make out, and so much more.
Find us juiced up and jumbled in downstairs at Dalston Superstore for another night at the movies.
Tickets available via OutSavvyhttps://www.outsavvy.com/organiser/transmissions
Subtitles will be displayed throughout the film.
Seating is a mixture of benches, backed chairs, bar stools, and floor space, and is first come, first served.
