Transmissions presents: THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS (2003)

On night three of our Matrix retrospective, the fight is on.
Right before we cap off the Wachowskis’ original trilogy with The Matrix Revolutions (1999), we’ll be screening Animatrix shorts from K?ji Morimoto (Akira, Kiki’s Delivery Service), Takeshi Koike (Redline, Lupin the Third), and Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust).
See a group of teenagers visit a haunted house that’s really a glitch in the matrix, an athlete who is suddenly jolted into the reality beneath the illusion, a character named Cis (really) lose herself in a series of training simulations, and then re-join Neo, Trinity, Morpheus and the soldiers of Zion as they fight their extermination at the hands of the machines.
You’ll find us downstairs at Dalston Superstore for another night at the movies curated by and for London’s trans community.
“Everything that has a beginning has an end, Neo.”
Tickets available via OutSavvyhttps://www.outsavvy.com/organiser/transmissions

Subtitles will be displayed throughout the film.

Seating is a mixture of benches, backed chairs, bar stools, and floor space, and is first come, first served.
