Pumping Velvet

Your favorite dance party is back to heat up the UK summer that never was! Who cares if it’s barely even shorts weather when Pumping Velvet is here to rock your body and warm you to the core?

For our July party we have a very special collaboration with the wonderful Pittsburgh-based queer collective Jellyfish, known for their raucous parties across the steel city. Jellyfish residents Formosa and Ricky Mawzlin will be making their London debut with a set bound to morph between italo, house, disco and electro.

Completing the basement’s US invasion is LA native Mez, who’s established a reputation for bringing a fresh but decidedly old-school vibe while pulling inspiration from the golden age of New York and Chicago House. No stranger to queer parties, Mez runs the LA event Signal, which pays homage to the black roots of dance music.

Upstairs see’s Rosy Ross and Lavandula soundtrack the bar with sleazy vocal heavy vibes before Dalston legend Mads Mads shuts things down with his unmatched selection of pop-edits. And if you can’t dance go-go humans Loren Dell’Arco and Cherry will have you transfixed with the sexiest of bar top gyrations.
