Gauche Presents: Spotlight on LO-LOW

"Conjure up baddest bitch attitude on the dancefloor."

As Gauche gears up to return to the mothership (for their first road-blocking, deep xxxstasy kiki of 2024) – we sat down with headliner LO-LOW to discuss their ALL TIME fave club-trax!
LO-LOW is undoubtedly one of the hottest stars of the queer-underground. Her fiercely genre-defying, techno infused sets have TORN the floors of Fold, Riposte and E1. She holds residencies of E1, Yes Babe! and Reform Radio – where her monthly ‘Melatrois’ show combines her innate musical vision with vital conversations on identity, the BIPOC experience and the urgent need for diversity within electronic music.
This selection tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about what to expect in the lazer-pit. A high energy, full-throttle dive into percussive, bass-heavy fierceness. Don’t get it twisted – this is going to be one for the dolls. We’re already sweating bbz!
1. bastiengoat- ‘everybody in the club’

‘A delicate build, with an unexpected breakdown that always gets the crowd going wild.’

‘High energy hotbed of cross-genre samples galore and plenty of lyrical of sass.’
3. Bashkka – ‘Act Bad’

‘Playful and sexy, it’s the perfect anthem to conjure up baddest bitch attitude on the dancefloor.’
4. Eliza Rose – ‘Take You There’”

‘Leads you down the rabbit’s hole with it’s bouncing rumbling dirty bassline.’
5. Faithless – ‘Insomnia’

‘One of the most iconic club tracks ever made, there’s a certain melancholia as Maxi Jazz speaks, but once the song reaches it peak, the keys are pure euphoria. And they hit every time.’
Catch LO-LOW alongside a plethora of East London Legends including Princess Julia, Nawty Nicky and Jane Norman this Friday!
